Meet La Shawn, one of the very first members of #TeamKid! As a high school student, La Shawn embodied the role of defender and protector of his friends and peers. Since joining Project Hope Alliance in 2013, LaShawn uses that same protective nature to defend the potential of every child who walks through our doors. Originally starting as the Housing and Community Outreach Liaison, La Shawn now is a Case Manager for our Promotor Pathway Program. We are so grateful to have La Shawn’s exceptional leadership skills and contagious joy on the Visible Army, breaking the cycle of homelessness, one child at a time.
