Make this Season Merry and Bright #Forthekids

You (and your friends, family, and coworkers) can decorate and fill holiday stockings for students experiencing homelessness in Orange County.

We kindly ask that, with every stocking, you also include a monetary donation or gift card in any amount. Gift cards need to be included in a separate envelope, and monetary donations can be made online below. We humbly ask that you focus your stockings on quality of rather than quantity. A suggested value for each stocking, including gift card is $50-75.

How to Fill a Stocking #Forthekids

1. Start with purchasing a gift card to any store kids love! Great ideas for gift cards include places like Tilly’s, Ulta, In ‘N Out, Visa or Starbucks. A value of at least $25 is preferred, but any amount will make a difference #forthekids. *Please have gift cards in a separate envelope when dropping off the stockings.

2. Find your stockings to decorate and fill! Amazon, Target, and Walmart are great places to shop!

3. Choose who the stockings are for! You can make it for elementary, middle school, or high school students. It can be for a boy, girl or be gender-neutral. Please clearly label the stocking with who it is for!

4. Fill the stocking! With age and gender-appropriate essential items such as:

  • Gift cards (In N Out, Ulta, Tilly’s, Target, etc.)
  • Beanies
  • Beaded Bracelets or Charm Bracelets
  • Art Supplies
  • Hair Accessories
  • Stuffed animals
  • Hygiene items
  • Headphones or Earbuds
  • Coloring books
  • Nail/Makeup kits

5. OPTIONAL: Decorate! With stickers, paint, markers, etc. pour your love into it!

6. Bring the stocking to Project Hope Alliance offices! Drop-off hours are Monday-Friday, 10 am-4 pm at 1954 Placentia Ave, Suite 202, Costa Mesa, 92627

7. All stockings needed by Wednesday, December 6.
