12th Annual Anti Gala Fundraiser Honoring Huntington Beach Union High School District as 2026 Catalyst of Hope

COSTA MESA, CA
Community, creativity, and compassion will take center stage at Project Hope Alliance’s 12th Annual Anti Gala: Hope and Hay Bales — a signature fundraiser supporting students experiencing homelessness in Orange County. This year’s Anti Gala will honor the Huntington Beach Union High School District (HBUHSD) with the Catalyst of Hope award, recognizing its impactful partnership in serving students experiencing homelessness throughout Huntington Beach, Westminster, and Fountain Valley.
Since 2021, HBUHSD has been a critical partner in identifying and supporting students experiencing homelessness across its campuses, impacting over 120 students annually. Students receive guidance, basic needs resources, academic support, and other critical services from Project Hope Alliance that help them remain in school and graduate.
“The Catalyst of Hope award is reserved for partners who go beyond systems and policies to lead with heart and intention,” said Dr. Shelby Feliciano-Sabala, Project Hope Alliance Chief Partnership Officer. “HBUHSD exemplifies what it means to be a partner and show up for students—not just in the classroom, but in every aspect of their lives. Their commitment to seeing and supporting students experiencing homelessness has transformed outcomes and strengthened our community.”
Project Hope Alliance’s Anti Gala brings together community leaders, advocates, and supporters to raise critical funding for programs that help students experiencing homelessness stay in school, access resources, and build stable futures. Set against the rustic charm of the iconic Red Horse Barn in Huntington Beach, this year’s Anti Gala will celebrate bold, innovative solutions and collaborative efforts that create real change for children and youth experiencing homelessness in Orange County.
With more than 32,000 students experiencing homelessness in Orange County, Project Hope Alliance mobilizes the community to ensure vulnerable children and youth have stability, resources, and the support they need to succeed and end the cycle of homelessness.
